Working Wednesday!

There is so much work to be done at my house! My house looks like a tornado went through it! I tried yesterday to work on some stuff, but the 1 project (organizing kids clothes) ended up taking me ALL afternoon. . . leaving me my 80 million other projects for today (or the rest of the week, more likely).

I'm working on ABC scrapbooks for Gage and my nephews for Christmas! I started them a night last week only to realize that the scrapbooks I bought had BLACK paper inside, not white! In all my years of scrapbooking I've never seen that! :(

I need to organize/clean my computer desk! Most of it is couponing stuff! But I know the look of this desk makes Shaun cringe every time he walks in our room!

I've got to do something different with Maisey's hair pretties. I have this weird Gymboree hair pretty fetish! But they are just so stinkin' cute! So we have a ton of them! I tried organizing them by color once, and that lasted about a week! I've got to figure out a good way to do this! Any ideas?

Oh yeah, and to add to my work. . . this little man was found standing on his sister's art table coloring on the wall this morning. :(
He keeps me so busy without my list of stuff to do!
Today is also laundry day! I'm on my 6th load with at least 2 more to go. I've made dinner (one for us, one for my mom) and did a whole load of dishes. I need to pay bills, TAKE DOWN HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS, and clean our shower.
And the UPS guy just dropped off my 10 yards of red vinyl I ordered for some Christmas projects!
I guess I better get busy!
Only problem, I'm not at all motivated!
A nap on the couch sounds much more enjoyable!

That's how I am feeling too, but it all just keeps piling up here too. It's funny, my list is almost the same as yours with the bills and laundry almost done. Good luck!

I have found that the best way to organize hair pretties, is to have something to hang them on. I have 3 in Maddie's room, that I have made. They are really easy to make, and depending on what kind you do, can take all of about 15 minutes. The easiest one I have is to take a wall canvas that you can get at any craft store or walmart, and just cover it with fabric, (I used a staple gun to secure it) and then put some ribbon that goes across it (just securing the ends so the ribbon in the middle is loose) This allows you something to clip the hair pretties on. It makes them so much easier to deal with. And Maddie also loves being able to see them and pick out her own. Sorry for this novel... and giving you one more project idea to add to your list. Let me know if you want me to send you a picture... kiraconley@gmail.com

Having 4 girls I have collected massive amounts of hair things. I took an old picture frame popped out the glass spray painted it white and strung ribbon down the frame. I think I ended up with 5 to 6 ribbons. Then I hung it up in the bathroom and put all the pretty flowers and bows on them. It looks pretty nice for a non crafty person.

I was going to tell you to do the same thing with Maisey's hair things!

Go to google and there type in Hair Bow Organizers! There are a million different ways you can do it depending on the different kinds of hair clips! We made a cute one for my nieces room!

Good luck! Let me know if I can help out with anything at all! I would love to!

P.S. I was going to invite your family to dinner at our house on Sunday but Nate has to work now!
