Shaun was flying home out of the Vegas airport, so we decided to spend a day there instead of just driving there and back to St. George. Vegas is one of my favorite places on the earth! Sounds kinda lame, but it is! It can be a very dirty city, but there are so many fun shows, roller coasters, attractions, and delicious restaurants! I've been there more times than I can count, but this time was especially fun because it was Maisey and Gage's first time. I was a little bummed because we weren't there at night, which is when some of the really fun stuff is happening, but we still had a great time!
We started off at the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. The kids LOVED it!!! I liked it because it was indoors and air conditioned! :)
Maisey was so brave to stick her hand in the sting ray wading pool. She was hesitant at first but she was glad she did!After the shark reef we headed to M&M World and Coco Cola World. The kids each got to pick out some m&m's. Gage got a bag full of blue and white (go COUGS!) and Maisey choose pink, purple, green, and blue. Maisey loved the M&M store!
Then we headed to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
The loved all of the animals and when the storms came. There was a big elephant up on the rocks behind our table! Maisey kept talking to it during dinner!
We walked through the New York New York and saw this! It's made of Jelly Bellies! How awesome is that?
We had a great time in Vegas! But it was sad leaving our daddy at the airport!
