Halloween 2013

All month of October, this little girl could be found with multiple candy buckets hanging from her arms! Maybe she needs a purse?

Halloween morning started off with Dad subbing for early morning seminary. And what seminary sub doesn't bring doughnuts? These kids just happened to reap the rewards of their dad's early morning service!

I was hoping for a nice, meltdown-free, Halloween evening, so it was a mandatory nap day! It wasn't completely meltdown-free, but it could have been a lot worse!

Elmo, Thomas, and Bat Girl started off the evening with trick-or-treating at Daddy's office.

The kids loved checking out his desk, pushing all the buttons, opening all the drawers, and scouring other people's desks for candy!

After that we headed to Grammy's ward chili feed and trunk-or-treat.

 Elmo
(I could never get a picture of her standing still the whole night. This was the least blurry of them all!)

Maisey and Grammy passing some candy out!

After the trunk-or-treat, we headed out to the neighborhoods that I used to trick-or-treat in.

The kids loved peeking in this spooooky coffin!

 Gage liked the pirate ship!

Miley in action! It was funny to watch her try to figure out how it all worked. Mostly she just wanted to eat the candy as soon as someone gave her a piece and didn't want to put it in her bucket. She bit through so many wrappers.

Their combined stash at the end of the night!

The next day Maisey didn't have school so she went with me to hit up the Halloween clearance at Target.
She used her own money to buy this Halloween Barbie. She was so excited and played with her all afternoon.

Our ward trunk-or-treat and carnival was the night after Halloween. Maisey invited a friend to come with us. They had a blast together and got a ton more candy.

And that was the end of our Halloween, 2013!
