Easter

Easter was pretty low key this year. We got back late the night before from Sunriver and we were having the missionaries over for dinner that night, so I needed a nice relaxing morning. The kids woke up to Easter baskets with a few treats, an outfit, a new pair of shoes, and a book inside. They did a quick egg hunt and then they had quiet times before it was time to get ready for church.

 Miley checking out her basket!

Maisey is learning all about money right now at school so she was so excited when one of her eggs had a $5 bill in it. She actually understood how much it was worth. She also enjoyed counting all of the coins that she got.

Gage just liked to line his coins up in a train!

Maisey found an egg with a clue in it. The clue led her to under the couch to find a big box of side walk chalk!

And Gage found an egg with a clue leading to the coat closet. He found a big bottle of bubbles!

It was nice to have just a simple morning and then to go to church and learn more about our Savior and His Atonement.

As predicted, things got wild and crazy when the missionaries came over for dinner. My kids act up and get all wild and crazy when they come. But it was still nice to have them over. We made them Easter bags with some goodies in it, which they really enjoyed!
